SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, March 6 /TASS/. Any war and any hostilities are a tragedy, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said, referring to the large number of tension hotspots in the world. He said the situation is complex, there are many problems and many hotbeds of tension.

"Yes, the situation is indeed complex, there are many problems and many flashpoints," the head of state said during a meeting with participants in the World Youth Festival.

"Here we have a conflict with our close neighbours. There are hostilities going on here. Could it be more problematic?" Putin continued. "It is always a tragedy when people fight among themselves. After all, people die, are injured and so on," he added.
