In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Sanjiangyuan National Park and the launch of the fifteenth five-year plan, our studio, Krteček, welcomed the prominent Czech ecologist, Mr. Mánek. The former director of the Šumava National Park shared his experiences from Chinese national parks and how the country is placing nature conservation at the center of its development.

"Today, China is striving for genuine environmental protection – systematic, scientifically based, and supported by the entire society," said Mánek. "We humans are not masters of nature, but merely its guests. What we should leave behind are not the footprints of conquest, but a deep respect for nature." His documentary series about Chinese national parks serves as a bridge, bringing the beauty and wisdom of Chinese environmental policy closer to the Czech public.
