The Zhongguancun Forum 2026, with its main theme of deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, attracted more than 1,000 guests from over 100 countries and regions. All were asking: what does this deep integration mean? What opportunities does industrial innovation bring?
Robots with embedded intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, practical applications of quantum technologies, and groundbreaking results in 6G research – the forum showcased over 560 of the latest scientific achievements, allowing participants to experience firsthand the dynamism and unlimited potential of future industries.
Anders Karlsson, Vice President for Global Academic Relations at Elsevier, said: "What impressed me most was how pervasive artificial intelligence is today."
Vincenzo Lipardi, President and Co-founder of the Italian company SPICI, said: "This forum has become a window into innovation with enormous international significance. It allows us to see the overall picture of the development of a country as vast as China."
